Image/Design oriented Blog Assistant - Baha'i Blog

Hello! I'm looking for an assistant to help me create and prepare blog posts for the Images section of Baha’i Blog. You can check out the section here: http://ift.tt/1O56DMs Baha’i Blog is a blog about the Baha’i Faith, which is an independent, global religion with five million adherents around the world. You don’t need to be a Baha’i to apply for this job, or even be familiar with it beforehand - though that will help of course! What you do need are image and writing skills! Specifically I’m looking for someone with: * Good taste for photography and design. You’ll need to choose images to feature in posts. * Adobe Photoshop skills for manipulating images. Sometimes it’ll just be cropping/resizing/saving, but other times I’ll give you a template to follow which will need a bit more design awareness. You'll actually need a copy of Photoshop as well. * Basic HTML post preparation skills. I’ll need you to create the post drafts, place images, and do minor adjustments to the post styles occasionally to make things work. * Research and writing skills. It is a blog after all. You’ll need to be able to write intros and outros, as well as research and prepare the posts generally. You’ll be paid US$40 per article you prepare on direction, or $50 per article you create from scratch. We’ll start with the former (I’ll give you titles and some basic direction on where to find things) and hopefully graduate to the latter. If you’re strong, and have availability, then we have lots more ongoing work to do on Baha’i Blog curating various sections, creating drafts, helping with administrative tasks and so on.
