Nerd Underground is seeking new writers to join our team. What is Nerd Underground? Nerd Underground is not just a website for all things nerdy, but a community of people and writers who love to share their passion for nerd culture. Our website is similar to IGN, but we do things a little differently. Take a look at our site to get a feel for it. What do I need to be qualified to write for Nerd Underground? We seek writers who have a passion for our niche. If you love comic books, video games, superheroes, Star Wars, Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings AND you are a talented, personable writer - then we want you on our team. Other Nerdiness: Tech News Awesome nerdy related content writer Regardless of your focus, you will also be allowed to pitch unique, original articles related to your category. What type of compensation does Nerd Underground offer? Nerd Underground is coming up on one year since it's launch, so we are still growing. We're getting significantly bigger every month. There are multiple incentives to write for us. 1. NUG of the Month. On the first day of every month, our top writer of the month will receive a care package containing a variety of awesomeness. (Comics, Nerdy figurines, Gift cards, Cash, Art. It will be a different care package every month) 2. Ad sharing. We have a system in place that allows our writers to have their own ad on all of their articles. The earnings are 100% yours. 3. Early access to some comics and games. 4. An outlet to write about topics you actually love writing about. 5. A chance to interview your favorite comic writers and artists/Game devs. 6. Press access to many Cons. Aside from all that, when you join the Nerd Underground team, you will feel a sense of pride with your work.
