Politics/ news writer - The Hill Talk

The Hill Talk is seeking a politically savvy news writer with knowledge of AP style formatting and a strong interest in politics Our business model centers around brief articles, max. 400 words, for everyone on the go from young students to seasoned professionals. This is a PRO BONO position. What you are getting in return is experience, and published work for your portfolio. In the long term we will be looking to fill full-time, paid positions in the not too distant future. Our goal is to inform the target audience of today's current events in a simple, straight-forward manner. Writers with any political viewpoint are welcome to apply, but our articles are fact, not opinion-based. There will be opportunities to author an occasional editorial piece however.
