You can review products from these manufacturers, write articles about the manufacturer - possibly with some major product review in that article, etc.
SO AS AN EXAMPLE, you could write about AET Solar, a brief history of the company, their flagship product(s), and how well they are doing in California.
OR AS ANOTHER EXAMPLE, you could write a more technically detailed article about AET's solar water heaters, and how they are selling in New York.
