We are in our 10th year, running a large event for online retailers. We are seeking a freelance writer/blogger to create approximately 20 articles (1000-1500 words each) over the next 6 mths (first article by end Oct, last article in April) - which we will use across various platforms including: - media articles /press releases - our own blog posts - our social channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter - our email newsletter. The aim of the articles is to drive ticket sales to our event. Ideally you're experienced in business writing and specifically writing copy which is marketing-focussed. We'll brief you on the themes/topics each month and you'll research and write an article that supports those topics, specifically referencing the content, speakers, exhibitors and themes relating to our event. You may also need to interview our speakers/exhibitors (by email or phone.. your preference) for quotes for the article. Turnaround time once we brief you for each article should be approx 3-5 days but we'll work with you to create an editorial calendar to plan the submissions.
