We're looking for talented writers who are passionate about Photography. Writers who know what interesting is for Photographers, and who will help us reboot the blog on our website. English must be your native language. Our topics range from: Photographers (Famous, Interesting) Gear News Sources Photography Tips and Tricks Photographers (Famous, Upcoming or Special) This category is for blog posts about upcoming, famous and/or special photographers. Every post will zoom in on a certain photographer and describe his work, techniques (and life if interesting). Example Topics: biography of a certain influential photographer famous fashion photographer famous nature photographer etc. Gear This category will have reviews of Cameras, lenses, lights and accessoires for photographers. Example Topics: Review of new Cameras, Lenses, Lights, etc. Buy a used camera on Amazon? (tips, advantages and disadvantages) News: article about a hot-topic that relates to photography (short article) This category will have blog posts that relate to a hot topic that dominates that weeks/months news. For instance: last year the tv-show: Game of Thrones was huge - so then you can think of a blog posts combining this topic with Photography. Say something about the landscapes/lighting/etc. Photography Sources This category will have blog posts that will sum up great sources of photography blogs/magazines/etc. online. Example Topics: List of most influentical Photography blogs 10 interesting how-to photography guides online Best online sources for learning photography 5 interesting websites on Landscape Photography Interesting Photography Magazines Influential bloggers Photography This is a general category for a lot of blog posts. Example Topics: Best spots in the world to live as a photographer List of cool photos of nighttime photography, National Geographic, Nature, animals, etc Tips for increasing your profit as a photographer Tips and Tricks Tutorials, tips and tricks that are usefull for photographers (please no complete 101s). But usefull tips as for instance these: http://ift.tt/15x9R3g Target audience: Male / Female: 50/50 Age: 25-44 Countries: Predominantly USA, UK and Western Europe This target group is very visually focused - because of their profession/hobby/passion -> photography. Tone of writing: everyday informal Narrative voice: first person plural Just make sure to tick off the following criteria boxes before applying: 1. Native English speakers only, please 2. Experience with cloud storage services (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) 3. Experience with Wordpress (you'll be uploading and formatting posts with it) 4. A desire to help and inform others 5. Good communication skills 6. The ability to correct any mistakes quickly Experience in Photography is not required, however it is definitely considered as a big advantage. The rate will be $35/article (600-900 words). You will be required to provide at least 12 articles a month, that will be at least 3 per week. Payment will be done via Paypal.
