Organic Authority is looking for more recipe, food, fitness + Yoga, nutrition + wellness and gardening writers. Recipe writers: we’re looking for someone who can take fabulous photos of their recipes and write mouth watering descriptions. That special someone must know food, and be able to talk and write about recipe techniques, follow what’s in season throughout the year, know how to cook from scratch and uses real ingredients in their recipes (no processed or canned food used in recipes), and understands the organic local and sustainable food movement . This person needs to be able to pitch original recipe and story ideas that correlate with the seasons and cover good old fashioned, evergreen, American recipe standbys with a fresh, local approach. We are looking for recipe writers who can develop vegetarian, vegan, paleo, gluten-free and conscious carnivore recipes. Fitness + Yoga writers: we’re looking for experts in fitness and Yoga to cover trends in the fitness and Yoga world to help get our readers moving. Nutrition + Wellness writers: we’re looking for experts who are top of the latest wellness, nutrition, juices, and cleanse trends and are well versed in the healing power of foods. You must be able to back up any and all health claims with links to studies that support any health claim in a story. Gardening writers: you must be familiar with gardening trends through the seasons and be an experienced organic gardener. We are looking for someone who can offer creative advice and solutions to common gardening problems. You must be familiar with and know organic gardening techniques. Writers, you must have experience with writing for the web, be familiar with SEO, write compelling clickable headlines and metadescriptions. You must be proficient in typical technical tasks associated with blogging: Wordpress/blog CMS, SEO and tagging, image sourcing and cropping, best practices for linking and social media.
