Blogger/CopyWriter/PR writer -

We are a young, vibrant digital agency based in the UK. We are rapidly expanding and have some great brand names on board. We specialise in blended digital campaigns, delivering high profile press coverage and helping clients to build their brand footprint. From blog writing, PR writing and web content, to product descriptions and social media posts, we write across many industries on a daily basis. There are long term opportunities for the right people and we are on the look out for multiple writers. Please note that examples of work will need to be provided and a Skype address is essential. TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Work will vary from day to day. You must be able to write blog posts, press releases, web content and social media posts across a number of industries. Writing: Excellent writing skills are non-negotiable. You’ll produce ‘journalist quality’ press releases every time. You’ll be experienced writing blogs and able to write posts in a range of styles to fit with client requirements. You’ll produce engaging web copy including on page content, titles and meta descriptions You’ll write social media posts for clients, to be used across a range of channels. You’ll be adept at proofing your own work and produce flawless documents that can be presented to the client for their sign off. Brainstorming: You'll be required to suggest ideas for topical news items, blog posts and social media. Workload: You’ll be responsible for managing your own workload, scheduling in key deadlines for producing copy and ensure all work is delivered on time and to the required standard. Via PR and blog planners presented to the client you’ll identify angles to result in news coverage for clients on relevant portals. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Experience within a newsroom, PR agency or PR department. Journalistic awareness – a strong understanding of the media, editorial requirements and what ‘makes’ a story. Writing skills – excellent writing skills with the ability to create engaging content in a range of tones and styles. A creative thinker able to brainstorm ideas for new content. A passion for digital and a commitment to staying on top of industry trends, developments and technologies. Strong communication and reporting skills. Excellent organisation practises and the ability to manage your own workload. A team player who works well under pressure. English must be the native language. A UK time zone is desirable although US time zone will be considered for the right person. WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU? The opportunity to develop your skill set.
