This means creating content that grabs people’s attention, distills complex ideas into easy-to-understand writing, and speaks to their identity as a homeowner or homebuyer. *** Who We’re Looking For: Great writers come from different backgrounds. We’re looking for people who have a proven ability to create high-quality content on complex topics in a way that makes sense to non-experts. This doesn’t mean you’re an expert on SEO, keywords, or ad targeting (although those don’t hurt), it means that you’re someone who can write compelling pieces about complex topics. Specifically, we’re looking for people who have experience writing about these topics: -Finance -Real estate -Mortgages and refinancing -Personal finance -Home improvement -Market trends -Financial planning -Buying a home -Regulations Additionally, if you have experience writing in an adjacent field, please get in touch! *** About the Position: You’ll work alongside a team of writers, editors, copy editors, assistants, and content strategists to create work that you’d be proud to share with your friends and family. This will primarily be text-based articles, but will also include writing content for social media posts, slides, email newsletters, educational email campaigns, and ebooks. This will be a remote position that provides steady billable hours over a long period of time.
