We’re looking for a team of capable bloggers to ghostwrite WordPress content. As you’ll be writing in detail about WordPress, you’ll need a good working knowledge of WordPress.org, rather than just a basic idea of how to use it. The type of content we expect you to cover includes articles on WordPress themes, plugins, strategies, and general tutorials. The target audience ranges from amateur WordPress users through to WordPress freelancers and professionals making their income from a WordPress-powered business. Punctuality is just as important as expertise, and it’s important you stick to the deadlines given. If you can’t meet a deadline, try to give as much notice as possible so we can make alternative arrangements. Just as important is the ability to read and follow instructions. Because of the somewhat technical nature of the topic, we can only accept applications with relevant samples. Any WordPress samples would be ideal, especially if it's published on an external website. We will also consider applications with samples on closely related topics, such as Internet marketing, eCommerce, web design, freelancing, etc. In order to provide consistently great content, we require applicants who are able to produce creative article ideas around WordPress – this is where a good knowledge of WordPress.org will really come in handy! To support your application and give us an understanding of your expertise, please include 3-4 post ideas, including brief summaries. This will be an important part of the workflow, as the better your proposals, the quicker we can assign work to you. Try to go beyond basic plugin and theme lists and come up with something more substantial (take a look at the blogs above for inspiration). We’ll be looking to run a trial period initially – fully paid, of course – to make sure we work well together. If the trial goes well, we’d like to make the arrangement permanent. Who Should Apply You’ve used WordPress and know the software inside and out. You can also write informative and entertaining content for WordPress users – both amateur and professional users - and can fit in at least two 2,000-word articles a week.
