Are you addicted to pop culture? Do you obsess over how many followers you have on Instagram and who likes your photos on Facebook? Are you also an experienced editor? If so, we have the job for you. LoveToKnow is a pioneering online media company looking for an experienced editor to manage our social media content process. Our virtual office is seeking a Social Content Editor who will be responsible for managing and editing content produced for the social audience (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram). Duties range from editing social content, managing and recruiting freelance writers, providing reports and researching trends. Required Skills and Experience: • Minimum of one-year experience of professional editing for a content based website • Proven track record of professionally producing and editing popular content for the social audience • Excellent writing and editing skills, with logical flow, good organization and impeccable grammar • Experience managing freelance writers • Innate knowledge of predicting social media trends • Familiarity with content management systems • Organized and efficient with keen attention to detail • Independent worker with excellent communication skills Position is a part-time position, with flexible hours, and will be done from your home office. You must have your own computer with appropriate software and internet connection. Pay rates are a base rate plus editing billing fees – estimated at $1500 - $3500 per month.
