Hey! Do you write with love and creativity? Are you looking for a position that doesn't pay 3c per word for factory-style SEO content? Don't feel like writing content-mill rubbish? This position may be the one for you! We are a web design company based in Chile. We help day tour operators all over the world get more sales online by creating effective websites. We have a problem, though - our clients really struggle to write content that helps their business shine like a burning hot sun in the middle of an Australian summer. They have tour companies and are not professional writers, so how are they meant to write incredible content? This is where you step in. You will have one to two phone calls with each tour operator as they lay their passion down the line. You'll extract the juicy details and structure their content in such a way that everyone who visits their site MUST take a tour with them. This means: - You love working with people - You have the ability to write high quality content that is fresh and that doesn't default to dirt-trodden, worn-out clichés. - You have regular availability - You're professional enough to never even contemplate conducting a client call with a child on your lap, while driving or with a dog barking in the background. (Not to say that we don't understand life's occasional emergencies could cause you to postpone a call - just that they do need to be occasional.) - You're deadline-dependable. This is absolutely key. Our wonderful clients depend on us to generate results in a reasonable timeframe. - You DON'T need a college degree OR any professional training. I don't care about what some piece of paper says about you. - I DO care about your talent, creativity and application. You have native-level, professional English - College students, stay-at-home moms, expats, all welcome. - If you are not in the US time zone, you need to be able to have good availability during the day time in the USA at least 2-3 days a week. Clients will be booking into your calendar using our software. - You have a great typing speed to take notes quickly during the call (50wpm+) - You have fast, reliable internet for conducting the calls. The position: - Is ad-hoc*, depending on how many sales we generate - Is ongoing for a successful candidate - Will start with a trial project and go from there To apply: - Please apply with your best hourly rate, but don't go too low - we need you to be comfortable working at this rate for a year or two. - Put your best foot forward! (You're smart and creative - you can decide how to best do this.) - Address all points mentioned in the application and provide proof where necessary. ---- *Ad hoc, meaning that it depends on the amount of sales we generate. However, we expect around 10-15 projects a month during peak period (January to May) and 4-8 a month during the rest of the year, although you can be absolutely goddamned sure that we will be working to generate as many projects as possible. Mentally, you should be allocating between 5-15 hours per project.
