Responsibilities include: Write and prepare copy decks for client-facing transactional pages for the web and mobile apps e.g. Applications, My Account, Help Center, Pop-ups, alerts, etc. Edit copy for clarity, accuracy, consistency, grammar, style and tone, while simultaneously meeting web usability standards, corporate editorial guidelines, business guidelines, and ensuring that content is on brand. Work collaboratively across multiple departments Frequently works on cross-functional teams comprised of associates with diverse interests. The writer is responsible for creating copy that addresses multiple business concerns. Works closely with the UX/UI team and the creative design team to create relevant, usable content for our clients resulting in a positive experience with the processes such as successfully completing an application, modifying an order, upgrading an order, and other account needs. After the copy has been approved, the writer works with developers during the QA process to ensure that the copy is accurate before the project is pushed into production. Responsible for having a thorough knowledge of the WES Editorial Style Guide and making updates to it. The writer is also responsible for keeping up with current trends/issues involving writing for the web and mobile apps.
