Australian Food Safety Writer Required - IEA

Searching for an Australian writer to produce 2 - 3 articles on food safety per week. We are a food safety training company based in Brisbane, Australia and require a writer who can produce informative and engaging news articles (300-400 words per article) based on current events in food safety. To start with, the articles will be produced in Google Docs - later on, we require them to be uploaded to our CMS systems (Wordpress, HubSpot). Links to source articles must be provided with each article produced. There may also be additional ad-hoc writing tasks moving forwards (How-To Guides, Information Booklets etc) Writer requirements: 1. Native English speaker able to produce articles in Australian English (any experience writing for the Canadian market is a plus!) 2. Experienced article writer with examples of past work available for review 3. Impeccable attention to detail and exceptional spelling and grammar 4. Strong focus on fact-checking and ensuring quality of work produced 5. Tech-savvy - able to work with Google Docs and various CMS systems 6. Professional and with demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines 7. Ideally some experience in food safety, hospitality, biology or other related field 8. Capacity to take on ongoing work, and to respond quickly to breaking news such as foodborne illness outbreaks.
