Ghost blogger/content writer - Admissions and education consultancy

Position Description: We are an education consultancy that provides subject matter articles and emails to our community and we’re looking to hire a talented ghost blogger/writer who will write blog articles and engaging emails for our database. The topics covered are primarily “How To” tips and related topics on college and graduate school admissions. You will get audio files regularly from the organization’s founder that you will then revamp into engaging blog posts and emails. The key thing we want in our writer is the ability to understand the founder’s voice and to capture that in an authentic and engaging way. You’ll need to also be good at listening to an audio file, understanding what’s important and the best way to present that information to the readers. This role is ongoing and will provide regular assignments. Position Requirements: 1. We will provide you with audio files for the writing. 2. The topics will be provided for you. 3. You need to work independently with little supervision. 4. You need to have strong writing ability and an engaging writing style. 5. You’ll need to edit and proofread content since they will be published right away. 6. You need to be willing to make any final revisions based on our feedback and produce quality work product. 7. Emails will be short, witty, and engaging (word count is flexible). Blog posts will be about 500- 800 words. 8. Emails will be weekly and blogs will be 2-4 per month. Job Qualifications: 1. Flexibility and quick turnaround. Blogs and emails written with 24 hour turnaround period 2. We require excellent writing skills. You need to have a strong grasp of grammar and accuracy with spelling. 3. We are seeking only native English speakers. 4. MBA a plus but not necessary.
