Agency looking for goal oriented blogger and content creator for housing/real estate clients - Quarterback Digital

Hi, My name is Kelly Patchet and I’m a partner with digital marketing agency, Quarterback Digital. Our focus is generating leads for our clients and helping to warm those leads up so we can help turn them into sales - in this case B2C. We actually love what we do and love working with others who are great at what they do. We need a skilled, experienced blogger to create truly useful 1000+ word blog posts that are interesting, helpful and that, importantly, help turn anonymous visitors into known leads. We need to produce content for two clients in the homebuilding sector. While it’s related to real estate, topics will include design, interior decor, lifestyle considerations, energy efficiency and more. We will share a client brief with you and make it as easy as possible for you to get up to speed. Ultimately, we’d like to establish a long-term relationship with a great communicator who we can work with every month producing 2 to 4 blog posts per month. Additionally, we may also ask you to create a content upgrade for a particular post. Ideally you’ve written articles for homebuyers in the past. However, if you’re able to produce great content in different verticals, we’re still interested. Here are some skills and attributes we value: - You’re a seasoned writer and as such, this is your job. You’re available during business hours, preferably EST/EDT. And you have 2+ years of full-time freelance writing experience and a library of great articles to prove it. - You have a process you follow that allows you to produce interesting articles, on time. - You know how to write headlines that sell the article and subtitles that keep people reading - You understand that content has goals - You understand the subtle art of demonstrating value and expertise (or selling without overtly selling) - Willingness to research the topic. (Because there’s nothing worse than thin content you’ve read 100 times before) - You’re completely comfortable, professional and friendly when interviewing subject matter experts for your article. - You have an understanding and appreciation of SEO - You have an ability to write conversationally and in the voice of the client (as demonstrated in other content we’ll share with you). - personality and humour are cherries on the sundae. - You’re disciplined and meet deadlines - Bonus points if you have a handle on digital marketing at the macro level and have strategic ideas for the editorial calendar. About the work: - It’s remote - we’ll create easy access and collaboration via Slack, Trello, and Docs - Ghostwritten - It’s a contract position - If you like the work and we love what you write, we’re completely open to growing the amount of work and your influence on the content we produce for our clients. - We pay promptly. Compensation to be determined on experience. We will pay more for great writing.
