Freelance Writers - Lido Financial

Lido Financial is a high-end Australian general insurance broker, looking to add new writers. We specialise in creating high-quality content focusing on general insurance and risk management advice for both medium and large industries, and as a result only work with experienced writers. Freelance writers looking to apply should have the following: - A very good grasp of the English language. - Experience with writing B2B copy, be it blog posts, webcopy, case studies, or other formats. - A portfolio of past work, including at least 5 pieces of significance. - References, be it testimonials from past employers or the contact details of past employers willing to give you a reference. - Proof of being able to write with an original, contemporary and compelling style. We’re not looking for dull. - While an English degree is not a requirement, it would be preferred. A few other details involved in working with us: If we decide to work with you we will send work to you which will be on an as-needed basis. This is NOT in any way a full-time position. Work will be completed according to a Project Brief. Once you’ve completed the work it will be passed on to an editor who’ll check it for accuracy, quality, and improve it further. Payments will be sent once a month via PayPal. We do not allow writers to use completed projects in their portfolio. Compensation: Compensation is a solid $0.12 per word.
