Highly Skilled Freelance Writers - $0.12 per word - Red Black

Red Black, a high-end content writing agency, is looking to add new writers to its pool of freelancers. We specialize in creating high-quality content for brands both large and small, and as a result only work with experienced writers. Freelance writers looking to apply should have the following: - A very good grasp of the English language. - Experience with writing B2B or B2C copy, be it blog posts, webcopy, case studies, or other formats. - A portfolio of past work, including at least 5 pieces of significance. - References, be it testimonials from past employers or the contact details of past employers willing to give you a reference. - Proof of being able to write with their own ‘voice’ or a compelling style. We’re not looking for dull. - While an English degree is not a requirement, it would be preferred. A few other details involved in working with us: If we decide to work with you you’ll be placed into our pool of freelance writers. When we send you work it will be because we think it will suit your specific skills, and so work will be irregular and on an as-needed basis. This is NOT in any way a full-time position. Work will be completed according to a detailed Project Brief, as well as snippets of email conversations with the client. Once you’ve completed the work it will be passed on to an editor who’ll check it for accuracy, quality, and improve it further. Payments will be sent once a month via PayPal. There’s also a Google Excel spreadsheet you’ll have access to through which you can monitor your outstanding payments – we like to be transparent. While most writing agencies do not allow their writers to use completed projects in their portfolio, depending on the client we definitely encourage it. Just ask first, please. Compensation: Compensation is a solid $0.12 per word.
