We seek to educate and help people avoid phone scams and are looking for a talented writer to help us craft a series of informative emails designed to spread awareness of common scams, how people can report them, and how they can protect themselves from these types of calls. As a writer, you need expertise in consumer protection, so that you can clearly define the different types of scam out there and then make a call to action for our users to follow in order to protect themselves. Some of the specific scams you will write about include: -The IRS scam (false call from the IRS about a tax issue) -The "Lucky Winner" scam (caller offers a false prize in order to gain financial information) -The tech support scam (when the caller asks for financial information in exchange for false tech support) You will also be writing emails designed to promote useful services related to identity theft protection, credit score monitoring, etc. Your work will be sent out via email to users who download our iOS app. This will be a series of twenty emails (approx. 500 words/each) that need to be interesting to our users and authoritative in voice with a clear call to action at the end.
