B2B Writer Wanted For Lots Of Ongoing Work - Epic Presence

Hi, My name is Casey Meehan, and I'm the founder of EpicPresence.com I'm super passionate about helping business owners grow their business through content marketing. I think content marketing helps buyers and sellers connect in a very efficient way. Therefore, it helps our business, our clients and the economy as a whole grow in healthy ways. I'm looking for a writer to help our team (of about 10 people) create long form blog posts (1000 – 2500 words) that can engage readers (and influencers!) and drive traffic to our clients' websites. ** NOTE: Please make sure to read this post in its entirety. Any submissions that do not adhere to all of these requirements will be automatically discarded. ** This position is immediately open for 10 hours per week (about 2 articles) but has the potential to grow quickly to 20 hours per week (4 – 5 articles). We write for all kinds of industries, so you should have a range of B2B writing experience and be curious about all types of industries. The Pros Of This Job Great Team: We have a great team of people (all remote) who I believe truly enjoy working together. Very Flexible: Work whenever you want. We almost never operate on extreme deadlines. Your time is yours, and we respect that. Competitive Rates: The starting pay is in the ballpark of $17 - $22 per hour / $80 - $120 per article / $.08 - $.12 per word. Lots of Opportunity for Growth: We have been growing steadily over the past two years. If you are good at what you do and want a full-time (or overtime) position, we can probably make that happen in time. No Surprises: Once you get into the groove, you can stay there. You will not have to deal directly with clients. We will be protecting you and your time at every step. The Cons Of This Job Formulas: Much of what we do follows specific formulas proven to get traffic. Many of these formulas are lists in various formats. Therefore, your creativity must be channeled into making the formulas engaging. However, this can also be an advantage, as you will never be at a loss for where to begin. Our Topics / Briefs will get you up and running quickly. Technical: We write for some very niche B2B companies. This is challenging for various reasons. It often requires you to learn esoteric industries quickly. If you have only written for B2C (fitness, lifestyle, etc), this is probably not a good fit. No Fluff: This is not a job where you can brainlessly whip up 250-word posts about a specific keyword. That will simply not work for us or our clients. No Messy Grammar: We are looking for a high-quality first drafts. Yes, they will get edited, but this will be a light grammar and punctuation edit. Our editors are just too busy to clean up messy pieces. Deadlines Are Huge: If you have trouble making deadlines, this is probably not a good fit.
