Critical thinking, philosophy, politics, and/or history blogger(s) Are you passionate about critical thinking, philosophy, history, politics, and/or literature? Could you use your knowledge of the world’s greatest books to help add context to global news stories, bringing them down to a human level and creating compelling headlines and introductions that beg to be clicked? Could you inspire busy CEOs, entrepreneurs, and the “man on the street” to develop their knowledge of the most important books ever written - from 'The Art of War' to 'Capital in the Twenty-First Century' - by making them relevant to modern life? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the above questions, then you could be one of the bloggers we’re looking for! We’re searching for organized and professional freelance bloggers to write around 1,000 words per post on a fortnightly basis, bringing books that are traditionally seen as “academic” into context with our readers’ everyday lives. We have a global audience, so if you have experience in writing about eastern politics or history as well as western issues, then that would be a bonus. Posts will largely be based around topical news stories, so the ability to work to deadlines is essential. Payment will be on a per-post basis and made once a month. Due to the complex nature of the topics required, applicants should be native or fluent English speakers.
