Music Writer For Timeline Project - Songfacts

We're working on a timeline project detailing significant events in music history. Each entry on the timeline details the specific event, explaining what happened and why it is important. An entry consists of a headline and about 300 words. Pay is $15 each. Your facts have to be right, but you'll also need critical and creative thinking to explain, for example, why it's a big deal when "Happy Birthday" enters the public domain or how The Chronic transformed hip-hop. These are written in present tense ("The Rolling Stones play the Altamont..."). The first sentence or two needs to provide an overview of the event, with details following. For example: "Madonna's documentary Truth or Dare hits theaters, following the superstar on her Blond Ambition tour. In the film, we see her..."
