The concept of VR is nothing new, with commercial attempts at VR going back as far as even the 80s and 90s. Recently though, VR has seemingly received its second wind as technology has finally reached the level necessary to give us a truly immersive virtual reality experience. At VR Source we believe that AR and VR are the future, and that we are just now at the beginning of a major transformation in gaming, movies, communication and so much more. While our site is just getting off the ground, we have plenty of industry talent behind us and are extremely motivated with the grand ambition of becoming the number one source for all things VR/AR. VR Source is looking to expand its pool of writers, especially those interested in covering VR/AR news, writing features, or even potentially reviewing VR games (especially Cardboard and Gear VR for now). We require candidates possess: - Passion and deep knowledge about VR/AR, including Gear VR, Cardboard, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Playstation VR, Microsoft HoloLens, and more - Experience with WordPress and blogging - Expert command of the written and spoken word - A great attitude with a passion for learning We will also pay even closer attention to candidates that possess basic to moderate photo editing skills, video editing and production skills, have previous experience reviewing games, and those who actually own and/or are interested in personally investing in VR/AR devices in the future.
